Configure Live Source Profile to access your camera and other live resources for live broadcast.
Steps:
1. Go to Settings -> click Manage Live Source Profile-> Select Create New Profile to set up a new Live Source Profile
Note: A live source can be any streaming source installed on site or on presenter PC such as camera, interactive whiteboard, document camera or screen capturing stream
2. Enter Basic Details in the Live Stream Profile Form:
Title – Define title for the profile to distinguish it from other profiles
Detail – Detail field is optional; you can add details to your Presentation to make it easily recognizable for other Administrators of your Channel
Source – Define Streaming source, currently Windows media server and Vbrick are available by default in drop down menu.
Acting as – Choose Reflector, if you are transmitting encoded stream to the streaming source. Otherwise choose Encoder to first encode and then stream Presentations to the Audience
Server Name – Enter Server Name, Domain Name or IP address of the streaming Source
Slot – Enter slot number allocated to the streaming source
User Name – Enter User name provided by your Streaming Service Provider to enable VIDIZMO to access your access
Password - Enter Password associated with the User Name provided by your Streaming Service Provider
Streaming URL- The output URL
Enter Advance Details if you are using CDN services to scale-out multiple broadcasts at a time
Server Name – Enter Server Name, Domain Name or IP address of the CDN server from where you want to stream the broadcast/presentation
User Name – Enter User name provided by your Service Provider to enable VIDIZMO to access your access
Password – Enter Password associated with the User Name provided by your Service Provider
Publishing Point – Enter the Publishing Point provided by the Service Provider
You can create multiple live profiles, can select & switch profiles during the live session. Furthermore, you can reserve profile prior to the Presentation to avoid management conflicts.
