Share live & on-demand videos to any device while using your existing video conferencing system
VIDIZMO enables you to deliver all live video meetings, presentations, seminars, or even training sessions to all employee devices such as PCs, laptops, smartphone or tablets in any bandwidth conditions. This means you can broadcast live video conferencing or recorded videos to a large audience, anywhere, anytime. Depending on enterprise needs, VIDIZMO’s video portal can be launched in the cloud, behind a company’s firewall or in a hybrid model combining both.
For Polycom RealPresence, VIDIZMO leverages your existing Polycom video conferencing infrastructure while also providing live and on-demand video streaming and video content management in a unified video portal.
Here’s how we do it….
Live streaming Polycom RealPresence meetings with VIDIZMO
For live streaming meetings from Polycom RealPresence video conferencing system, VIDIZMO takes live video streams from various RealPresence video endpoints or video recording sites and consolidates them into Polycom RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) using H323, H320, or SIP communications protocols. After that, the live stream is pushed into VIDIZMO Streaming Server from Polycom RSS 2000 Streaming Server using RTSP or RTMP streaming protocols. From there, VIDIZMO eCDN distributes live video to all devices for geographically dispersed users via unicast, multicast or P2P for efficient delivery, making all live videos available for playback and viewing by all authorized users on VIDIZMO’s video portal.
Through this process, VIDIZMO is able to take all live video conferencing meetings, presentations, lectures, or events from Polycom RealPresence and broadcast them to a scalable audience (internally or externally) – directly from VIDZMO’s video portal, accessible from any user device, browser, or bandwidth conditions.
Recording Polycom RealPresence video for on-demand storage & playback on VIDIZMO
VIDIZMO can store and playback recorded videos from Polycom RMX once the live session has ended. To do this, VIDIZMO obtains all video recordings from Polycom RSS 2000/ 4000 Recording and Streaming Server and automatically transfers them to VIDIZMO Publisher Tool in mp4 format via a UNC or FTP path. From there, the video recordings are transcoded for delivery on all user devices and stored in VIDIZMO Content Server. When a user clicks to watch a video, the request is routed via VIDIZMO eCDN to the nearest edge server for playback to users anywhere, anytime, regardless of their device or bandwidth connectivity.
During this process, VIDIZMO takes all recorded videos files from Polycom RSS Server and captures it for encoding, indexing, transcription, and storage in VIDIZMO’s video repository from where users can search, manage, edit, view, and share the video files.
More integrations
In addition to the telepresence tools like Cisco and Polycom, VIDIZMO also provides seamless integration with other contemporary video conferencing tools like Skype for business, WebEx, Go-To-Meeting, among others, so all live and recorded video content from such applications is automatically captured and centrally stored, processed, viewed, and shared from within VIDIZMO’s video portal.
For user authentication from enterprise active directory, VIDIZMO provides interoperability with all single sign-on protocols, including SAML-P, ADFS, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, WS-Federation, Okta, OneLogin, as well as third-party sources like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Office 365, etc.
